Manuka Honey & Soy Glazed Regal Salmon with Ponzu Sauce

Ingredients

2 x Regal Manuka Honey & Soy Glaze Salmon Portions

1 bunch choy sum, or other Asian greens

1-2 tbsp black sesame seeds, toasted

To serve: steamed Jasmine rice

Ponzu Sauce

4 tbsp Japanese soy sauce

1 tbsp fish sauce

2 limes, juice of

1 tbsp mirin

Method

Remove the salmon from the fridge and allow to rest at room temperature for 5 minutes.

Preheat oven to 180°C. Line a baking tray with baking paper. Place salmon pieces on the tray. Make sure the marinade is evenly covered. Place tray in oven and cook for 10-12 minutes or cooked to your liking. Turn the grill to high. Grill the top of the salmon for 2-3 extra minutes, until the topping begins to bubble. Remove from oven and allow to rest for 3 minutes.

Mix together the soy sauce, fish sauce, lime juice and mirin. Alternatively use pre-made Ponzu sauce for flavouring. Steam the choy sum or other Asian greens.

Serve the salmon with the steamed greens, rice, and ponzu sauce. Finish with a sprinkle of sesame seeds.
